Ricky Martin Song

There is no doubt that NYC is a diverse place. You can find people from every nationality here.

However, I have learnt it the ‘hard’way, over the course of my stay here that learning a bit of Spanish does come in handy. I live in a predominantly Hispanic neighbourhood in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

So it was bright and sunny beautiful NY morning. Why would I ever pay attention to a sign that reads ‘Cuidado Piso Mojado’. Sounded like a Ricky Martin song.

Well, let me just say I’m enrolling for Spanish 101 ay NYU. I have special place in the corner of the wall so that I can stand and listen to the lectures.

Yikes, It still hurts!

The other side

It was 7.30 am at Old Madras Road, one of the most congested roads in Bangalore. I was on the side that leads to the technology parks, and if you stand and look for a moment, there is a never ending line of buses, with the names of all major IT companies labelled on them.

I walked past to the other side of the wide road, found a small graden plant seller, who had to use a Metlife hoarding to cover his hut, which read "Rise above your financial needs!"
The other side of Bangalore!
