One more wasted Saturday afternoon at office. I decided to put my analytical skills to proper use!
Below are a few valuable insights that I can offer, after rigging data from Google Trends:
- Mallika Sherawat is more popular than Bipasha Basu!
- More searches for Aishwarya Rai originated from Lahore, Pakistan than from Mumbai India.
- You don’t have to conduct polls to determine George Bush’s approval ratings. Since the beginning of 2005, Salma Hayek generates more search volume in Google than President Bush.
- Sania Mirza is much more popular than Sachin Tendulkar.
- Shakeela is consistently more searched on Google than President Abdul Kalam. A large number of searches for Shakeela came from the UAE. But, I still can’t figure out why anybody would search for her in Italian, German, Chinese and French.
P.S. I initially named this post as Shakeela vs. Abdul Kalam. But, lately I have been generating undesired traffic from people looking for resources on the ‘movie star’. So, changed it to the above title!

You liked Google Trend, huh? It was OK, but after Alexa, Blog Ego Search and Ice Rocket, it was a let down
:(
BTW, don't blame Google for "undesired effect" or irrelevant search. It's a cheap trick of yours - getting more Google Juice.
I liked the previous background and font better!
For the jobless and the purposeless, google is a godsend
The Previous background and font was certainly better. This background is very dry indeed
Looks like somebody is plagiarising my idea of a design change. :o)
Don't tell me belonging to the same gene-pool makes us telepathic twins ;)
On the contrary, I like the new design better than the old algal-green template.
Kiki,
I have to say you were the inspiration, and I think the blog needed afresh look!
On that note, Annie and Deepu,
I have had the old template for 3 years! Thats too long
Talkative Man:
